Conferenza a cura del prof. Sabino Matarrese
Nell’ambito della XIII Settimana della Lingua Italiana nel Mondo
Sabino Matarrese
Full professor of Astrophysics and Cosmology at the University of
Padova. His main research interests range from Cosmology to
Astro-Particle Physics, with particular emphasis on the physics of
“Inflation” in the Early Universe, Dark Energy modelling and the study
of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) radiation and the large-scale
structure of the universe. He has published more than 250 articles
in international refereed journals. He is associate member of INFN and
INAF. He’s actively involved in the ESA space mission “Planck”, devoted
to the analysis of the CMB temperature anisotropy and polarization.
