Magnificent violinist Leonidas Kavakos, one of the
most appreciated musicians of our day, will give an exclusive recital at
the Croatian Music Institute in Zagreb on February 7, 2014 with his
permanent pianist Enrico Pace, beginning at 8:00 pm.After concerts
in the world’s greatest music centers and prestigious halls, such as the
Musikverein in Vienna, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Teatro alla Scala in
Milan, Royal Albert Hall in London, Salle Pleyel in Paris, and previous
concert tours in Canada, the US (including concerts in Carnegie Hall)
and China, Kavakos will perform four magnificent sonatas by L. van
Beethoven, C. Debussy, M. Ravel, and O. Respighi in front of Zagreb’s
audience.The concert is brought to you by the Zagreb Concert
Management in collaboration with the Greek Embassy to Croatia. The
Embassy joined the organization as a celebration of Greece’s 2014
presidency of the European Union.Tickets for
HRK 200.00 are available from January 13, 2014 at the Croatian Music
Institute, Gundulićeva 6a, workdays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, and during
the evening from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the days of any concert at the
